That is still very respectable. Mine is just at 7kg, so you are doing well.

Thanks! Nice looking bike, like my C50s twin. With lighter wheels they should weight about the same.

So I put in some work on the bike. Total weight at the moment is 6,605 grams
Changed wheels and gained a few grams. They had a lovely pair of Veloflex Arenberg 25mm glued on but unfortunately they had a clearance issue with:
Engage Gavial by AX Lightness brakes, 194 grams with Sram red brake shoes and yellow pads.
Changed the titanium spindle on the Speedplays, now down to 157 grams
Changed stembolt and bolt for saddle to titanium, saved 5-6 grams
Changed stem to a 120mm UNO with titanum bolts, total weight 111 grams, not to bad.

Lovely looking frame and components but just looks out of proportion due to the frame being too big.
I can understand some of the comments about sizing/proportions, but I wouldn't let that bother me. You have assembled a great bike that looks incredible. I trust it rides well and that you enjoy getting out there.
I also appreciate how each year, even within model years, Colnago makes slight variations to paint schemes to make each frame unique. Our two bikes may technically have the same paint color codes, but you can see the slight variations to make each unique.
Again, enjoy it. The fog has finally left after four days here in the Seattle area, and I will be heading out on mine soon.

giro tubs?!? Really?

Lol, I put them on temporarily since I hade them laying around for a vintage project. I wanted to see if I there would be enough clearance for the brakes and if the look was right.
I wasnt even able to spin the rear wheel with the 25 mm Arenbergs combined with the Engage brakes.
Keep the positivity flowing

I like it very much, SampsC50!
That's quite a good weight too considering the vintage & size of your frame. My Extreme Power is 7.1kg & that's a size 54 traditional
Enjoy your ride & thanks for posting the picts!
Cheers

How are you enjoying the leaf saddle? How is the durability of the leather?

Hi, I really like it and have now switched it for a non leather Leaf II. The leather on the plus is not making any difference in terms of softness to be honest.
