Good work. I'm really trying not to buy an eTap groupset. :D

I can’t wait to try mine, never ridden it before! Your build would be stellar with etap! Have you made any more progress?

I was hoping to post frame pictures today, but it hasn’t arrived, maybe tomorrow. In the meantime I have the new weights with clear coat.

Frame, clear added 19grams

Fork, clear added 2 grams

As I said I was hoping to receive the frame back today, but it looks like tomorrow is the day, going off tracking info. More pics to follow as and when it arrives

Nice! There's something about glossy clear-coated carbon that makes me feel so good! :D

If you don't mind me asking, roughly how much did the paintwork cost you? I'm interested in getting a similar thing done and it seems pretty simple but these things can be expensive.

All in after couriers, labour etc, I'm around £300 poorer, but Tom from KustomFlow did say he would probably charge more to do it again as he under quoted, as he didn't realize just how long it would take to get done. I love the look and am really pleased I went down this road. If you do decide to get it done, you will not regret it.

Yeh, I was surprised at the price being so 'competitive'. It's a ton of work to sand a frame and forks down to carbon.

Started the build finally, should be done by Saturday, if I can get some free time.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, this bike is done. I have yet to say it as I am waiting for some Ti Leo blades, but think it’ll end up around 5.7kgs. There is plenty of weight to be saved with a carbon cockpit and some different tyres.
