Lovely bike but surprised on its weight.

My Cervelo S5 is lighter and doesn't have any silly exotic parts really.

As for the wet braking on the Enves, 100% disagree, they're worse than my old 2016 Zipp 404s!

So how do I get this down to the UCI limit? Need to cut down 200g.

In full disclosure, I protected the frame with a ceramic coating. Like you would do to a car. That may have added 50-100g. I really don't know.

Changing inner tubes to Conti light will save 38g.

Anything else?

Go with Conti Supersonics and save a further 50g.

Pedals - Much lighter options out there (Look Keo Blade 2 Carbon Ti etc)

Saddle - Can get a low 100g saddle for not too much wedge

Cut your steerer

Swap out skewers for some Tune ones

Cages - Again, something like Tune will save you a fair few grams

Man, I wish my Allez Sprint Sagan had that gold chrome S on the head tube instead of yellow. Nice build!

Without spending too much cash: Extralite Streeters (29g/pair) + Extralite Ultrastar 3 expander plug (~6g) would save maybe 100g depending on what they're replacing. I'd also trim the steerer and slam the stem but it looks like you have it up there for a reason.

Could go WW on the stem (MFCK stem would save ~40g) but you might potentially sacrifice some stiffness (can't speak for either the ENVE or MFCK stem to compare). EE brakes would shave off another 100g+..

It’s being sold as a frameset only as far as I know. They produced limited quantities of the frame and once they are sold they will be gone. The frame has been available for about 3 months now so I would guess availability is very limited. They are all sold out in Singapore.

I have been eyeing the Enve SES Aero Road Di2 handler bar for my build as well and would like to understand more about the Di2 integration. They stated in their website that there is a bar-end adapter so that the handler bar looks balance left and right (one with Di2 junction box and one without). Can you help to share close-up photos of how that looks like please? Thanks.

Here you go. I didn't actually see the plug on the non-Di2 junction side before it went in. The setup looks nice and clean though and definitely feels balanced.

Looks great! How are the enve bars for out of the saddle sprinting?

Awesome bike! Some careful parts selections could shed a lot of weight easily if you really want to. I have a 2018 Tarmac too, and it's over 1000g less with some different parts selected. Yours looks great the way it is though, ride the heck out of it.
