hi there, i am perhaps not a true weight weenie (i have a triple-eww), but my g/f often has to retrieve her kitchen scales from the garage after one of my bike tinkering sessions.
I think I have the spirit though, no exotic parts to date (unless you count dura ace lol) but so far my bike has shed nearly 2kg from stock thanks to a few neccesary upgrades.

Remember, you need a small set of scales for parts in the shed, and a larger one hanging from the roof for checking the overall weight.
