Had the caad, missed di2 so I sold that and got this. Stiffer than the Evo, doesn't corner as well as the CAAD, but I think this is the best overall bike I've ridden so far.

Frameset: Focus Izalco Max 52cm
Cranks: DA 9000 Pioneer dual sided
Pedals: DA 9000
Shifters/Derailleurs: DA 9070
Cassette/Chain: 6870/KMC X11SL
Bars: Deda Zero 100
Stem: Pro PLT 130mm
Saddle: Specialized Power Pro
Seatpost: Deda Superleggero RS
Brakes: DA 9000
Wheels/Tires: Mavic Ksyrium Exalith SLR/Vittoria Corsa

Weight was at 6.80kg with a 9000 cassette, but it was worn out so I just replaced it with a 6800 cassette instead so its probably a couple grams heavier now. I do have these stupid Mash SF metal barplugs in right now so I could stand to loose probably the equivalent weight that I gained with the cheaper cassette, but they look cool so I'm leavin it.

Perfect, even the tan tyres are great on this one!

thats exactly my impression by comparing evo himod and izalco max. steering of the izalco is, in very best sense, neutral, perfect for long, curvy downhills in the mountain area.( i am just going to sell the evo frameset (size52), if anybody is interested...)

great build btw.

I got the same bike but the AG2R version like reedplayer. Probably one of the best bike I've ridden also, plus I got the frame new for dirt cheap on Ebay.

Just ordered the Addict SL so I'm extremely curious how the Izalco Max matches up with the Addict in both climbing and descending.
