Been a long time since new bike day for me. Just built this thing and here's first pic from maiden voyage.
Weight is reasonable. Needs lighter wheels. Fast and comfy. Had to temp harvest saddle and pedals from previous rig.

Damn, that is NICE! I'm reluctant to pull the trigger on 9100, because I don't think I'd like how it would look on an all-black bike, but in your case, it looks spectacular. Enjoy riding it!

BTW, can you post some photos of the tires? How much clearance you have with the brakes?

Thanks Man I appreciate it. I'll get some pics of the tire clearance posted. Plenty of room IMO.

Looks nice! IMO, could use deeper wheels or atleast a deeper rear wheel. Frame is rated to be the most Aero. Needs faster wheels to go with it.

Not a fan of deep wheels. You're gonna hate the uber light clinchers I have in the works...

black on white is dope, especially on the Madone 9. I agree that it's begging for at least 55mm hoops.

Haha. I love me a set of light wheels too. But my shoes would have to match my suit. That frame can be much faster with a set of 404's. :P

Deep dish bontragers would top off an otherwise beautiful build. In the right sizes, Madones look spectacular!

Ok, that's nice. Maybe white tape, vs. black saddle?

Too late! Mr. USPS has my Black Aliante R1 out for delivery!

I'm kinda digging the all black (Tape/Tires/Saddle) against the white paint.

I agree, black+black on classy plain white bikes like this looks the best. You can pull off black saddle + white bar tape but black+black just looks meaner 8)
