I dare say a Ribble SL will be a downgrade in terms of ride quality, but having never ridden one take that comment with a pinch of salt - I'm just looking at the slack seat tube angles and tight front centers. It doesn't look like it'll be a bike I like, but hey I don't need to like it.

Anyhow I better stop posting before someone catches on that I'm not actually a weightweenie...

You can easily get it to 6.5kg or lower with standard seatpost / stem and even alloy bars... mines at 6.65kg at an affordable level
