So I have been looking for a replacement for my cervelo s2 frame. This tcr came up for sale at a good price, so I jumped on it and today it landed in my hands! Image

This is the weight with the headset bearings and hanger mounted. Not super impressed, but still lighter then the S2!

Fork weight.

It will be built with campag record/super record 11 speed, 3t bars, giant contact stem, giant saddle, 50mm / 25 mm wide carbon clinchers. For now I am waiting for the pressfit cups to arrive, the rest of the stuff is on the cervelo. Hoping to land it under 7kg!

Great looking frame! I've been considering the complete build of this bike as it seems a good buy. What size is it?

Thanks! This is a size M/L. The complete build seems like a good buy, espcially the wheels gets very very good reviews!

I finished my 2017 SL (Neon Red) with DA 9150, and Bora Ultras a few months ago. Incredible bike!

I really love mine! I got it stock with Ultegra but since I'm a big Campag fan I'm thinking about replacing the Ultegra with some Chorus or Record parts.

So a few parts arrived. The bb86 cups, and 130mm overdrive stem. Weight on that is ok, but the topcap!! 10 grams! Bummed that the tilquist garmin mount doesn't fit the stem! So looking for another good solution. Has anyone tried the gub Alu mount? Looks pretty good. The giant saddle is quite heavy, but will try it and see. If not it will be replaced with a lighter. Seatpost is what it is, not much weight can be saved there I guess. Image

Next up is getting the cups pressed in and start the build! :)

So almost done! First test ride is tomorrow! So will see how the fit is. Will test the saddle, but as it's heavy I will probably change it. I think the bike looks much better with all black tires. Have dropped about 125g compared to the picture, so weight is now 6,8. With a lighter saddle 6,7 is easy to reach. Really looking fwd to riding it! :) ImageImageImageImage

Allright, pulled out the DSLR today :)

Still missing is a new flat head bolt for the topcap, and a garmin mount. (Just checking with mr Tilquist if he has one that fits)

Rids really really well! The acceleration is superb!

Very nice!
How does it compare to your S2?

Thanks! The biggest difference is the acceleration! I can feel a big difference in the stiffness. Once it's up to speed the difference is mostly felt in corners. Much sharper cornering! Looking fwd to the first longer ride! (Only done some 20-30k commutes)
