Sorry if I missed it but what saddle are you using? Looks like a leather Lupina but I'm not certain. I am considering trying a carbon saddle coming from my Aliante 00 but can't decide what shape to use.

I am using a Berk List with oval rails. I normally don't do well without a cutout but this saddle has been working well for me.

I got in the last few things I'd been waiting for.

Pro PLT 120mm stem (missing a bolt):

Throw in some black Ti bolts from Toronto Cycles:

And not a bad weight for a stem that's supposed to be so stiff!

I've been itching to replace the stock steel bolts in my Fabric "cages"
Image

Unfortunately, these shallow head bolts from Toronto are garbage. The head isn't deep enough to accept enough allen to actually tighten it down.
Image

I love the look of my blue seatpost - which has to stay - but I needed to find a way to shed some weight. Another black Ti bolt from Toronto got the weight loss started.

And I finally got the Extremes glued up on the ThirtyTwos

Added to the rest of the bike

For a total of 5923g. My hanging scale says 5895... so I need a third opinion soon.

That's probably about the extent of the weight I want to lose. If I could find more hardware pieces to replace in the seatpost and clamp, that would be great. I pondered an Extralite stem but I prefer the matte finish here. I'm eager to get out for a spin today and see how the Reynolds ride on the Extremes!

That's a proper looking bike. Love everything especially Campy SR.

Really beautiful bike!

It is a shame these framesets are (imo) unjustifiably expensive...

Could we have a build list please?

Kind of interested in what you consider unjustifiably expensive? Where I am the cost of a C60 frameset is not that much more than a Specialized S-Works Tarmac and less than an S-Works Vias for example, so to me they are excellent value for money framesets

Personally, I agree that the retail price for the C60 is a little absurd. I also wouldn't pay retail for a Tarmac... or really any other bike I can think of :)

Here is the "final" build

Thanks! Quite a heavy barrel adjuster you have there!

@moonoi: I understand that there are other overpriced bikes, and I would definitely pick a C60 over any specialized. I also understand that it is made in Italy by hand and that the brand increases the price and so on, but still think that the retail price is out of proportion. Just my opinion.

Agreed! Congrats on a beautiful bike.

I like it best with the shallower wheels, but whatever...

In Europe the price of a C60 is maybe 300-400 euros more than that of the S-works. Considering the handmade in Italy vs mass made in Taiwan and Colnago's manufacturing quality (reflected in resale value) the Colnago in comparison is almost a steal. The truth, of course, is that the S-works is way overpriced.

The C60 cost usually around 4600$ in Europe but here the pricing in Canada:

- Colnago C60: C$7200$ (inc. taxes) = around 5200 €

- S-Works Tarmac frameset: C$5040 (inc. taxes) = around 3400€

I've had my C60 built up for a week or so now. To be honest it gets better and better every ride. I never really understood that a colnago was all about feel, after riding mine I can tell you it's all true. ImageImage

I love the stem, it's stiff as can be and when your 6ft3 with some weight behind you, a stiff stem count for everything.
Most stems before I've felt flex, not with this one though [emoji106]
