Here is my FM066 / R01 Bought from Tan Tan. The headtube is stamped as an R01.

Weight is 16.04 Pounds As Shown. Any tips how to get it around 15.5? Are lightweight skewers actually safe?

Yes, lightweight skewers are ok, although I would buy from a reputable brand.

Probably the easiest and most cost effective way to save weight would be to sell the Shimano groupset and replace it with a second hand SRAM Red 10 speed.

looking good. i like those fm-066 (sl)!
yes, switching to sram red (10s) would be a good idea.
and another wheelset (non-deep, tubular) could save a lot of weight too!

Did you get it with a threaded bottom bracket? I've been curious how the BB30/PF30 frames have been as far as creaking issues.

Great looking bike by the way

Thanks, I went with BSA and I noticed no difference coming from a Shimano BB Press fit in terms of performance or stiffness

Take a look at this video, he claims that these Chinese bikes actually have the best tolerance for BB30 manufacturing compared to Cannondale.. take it for what it is worth but its pretty amazing actually.

By the way, all these companies are getting their frames from the same place which is "Flybike"

Thanks for the video, it honestly surprised me that cannondale was so bad and that Hongfu/Dengfu were actually better! I'd still go for BSA but good to know they're not nearly as bad as I thought they'd be.

A (used) Rotor crankset would save you maybe 150g depending on chainrings and BSA30 BB used, tubular tire wheels another 200g ;). CNC brakes, around 80g. Alloy housings, 50-75g :beerchug: .
Louis :)
