CAAD11 .....

Couldn't bring myself to selling my CAAD10, so decided to let the CAAD12 go and build it back up again.
To trim a bit of weight and see whether it improved the ride, I have added a CAAD12 hi mod fork (280g) .....(i.e. CAAD10+12/2=11!)
Have then done full internal routing using he bar end control unit. Still some tinkering to do but comes in at 6.58kg. Changing saddle and pedals should trim about 150g. After that it would be a DA upgrade, which would be another 150g or so.

I think it's a smart move. I like the fork but I don't like the seatpost in Caad12. It's just too high. Doing this you bring the best from the two

I just prefer the more traditional profile of the tube and the construction. I also really like the anodised finish on the Caad10.
Haven't ridden it yet thought.
On the fork, I had the black inc bare version - from memory it was something like 420g.
