That thing looks proper! 40g tape ain't so bad, I actually really liked the feel and longevity if the sram tape. Or maybe it was the Zipp tape...

Turned out really nice! White saddle and tape are the perfect match for that beautiful frame [emoji1419]

So close to perfection!! But you're getting there :wink: A debadged Pro stem and Veloflex Arenberg come in mind.

I tried the Pro stem earlier in the week and I didn't like it. It just didn't go for some reason. An extralite stem would look the best but they are too short (and too flexy... And bite steerers). I ordered a Kalloy but found out they measure along the top instead of along the center like 3T, Pro and Thomson do. For example, these are both sz 130:

If they haven't changed recently, 3T actually measures along the normal projection from handlebar axis to steerer axis. Their 17 degree stems are typically around a centimetre longer than actual centre-to-centre measured stems. Looking at that picture, the Kalloy looks like a true 130 mm stem would next to a 3T.

I don't think you've built a bike I didn't want. Keep up the good work!

Merlin was blowing out Di2 9150 for super cheap so I figured I'd use the Crumpton as a test mule for the next couple of weeks rather than tear apart the Litespeed. My 9100 brakes got delayed in the mail so ignore the Skeleton brakes. Wiring and stuff will be cleaned up if I decide to keep it.

@RyanH,

the Crumpton looks great. i had one in matte clear coat but I must say that the blue color looks incredible. great on your latest job tweaking the bits.

Beautiful bike, but I thought I saw it for sale on another site? :noidea:
