Cervelo R5

Hello everybody, finally My old horse (Trek Madone 2012) is retired, a buddy sale me his Cervelo r5 2014 frame, and I did the assembly.
Nothing exceptional, Sram red 22 for shifters, crank, and derailleurs, TRP brakes, some extralite parts (crankset, stem, skewers...) 3T carbon bar, speedplay tuned pedals, a Chinese seat post (106g), a classic slr saddle, and homemade tubulars carbon wheels.
Final weight : 5,790kg for the moment, not top lightweight. Soon I will receive another pair of wheels for mountain, and if my ass accept it, a new saddle under 90g...
I ride it for 3 months, and I'm very happy with it, max distance 155km for the moment, it is very comfortable, soon I will try mountain in the Alpes...

Looks very aggressive and fast.
I like the red bits and Extralite parts.
Nice bike from what must be a good friend!

That's still my favourite R5 paintjob, great looking bike!
For wheels, Chinese components, Bitex hubs f10/r9, 257g for the pair, CN 424 spokes, and Chinese tubulars rims, 24/38 mm high, 20,5/23mm width, 290/330g.
French assembly near my home, in a local bike shop.
For my saddle I think it's an effect, because I use to adjust it horizontally.

Yes you are right, I plan to do it, but after my days in mountains, I fear that a modification before will be not good for my back...
But sure I will try
