Please do!

Why do you bother with a chain tensioner on a single speed? Do you change the cog often enough that the 100-odd grams is worth it?

It’s a standard road vertical dropout so have no adjustment, with the ratio and sprockets I want to use I am also in between chainlinks so have to have a chain tensioner. Currently running a home made one from a spoke and mouldable plastic, a alloy bolt would also be ideal in the future but hard to find

Tuned Sram GXP team bb vs tuned Shimano Dura ace with shim and wavy washer, surprising amount of weight saved with much added durability over Sram bb which didn’t last long with low miles
