The standard bontrager saddle = 262g
Bontrager alloy seatpost = 294g
Seatpost clamp =22g
Total = 578g

To be replaced by probably selle italia slr carbon rails = 142g
Ritchie carbon superlogic Seatpost = 161g
Generic clamp = 11g
Total=315g

Saving 263g

Running total weight saving to date = 1697g

Next is handle bars and stem.

The original bontrager handlebar = 315g
Original st m = 143 g
Total = 458g

To be replaced with
FSA carbon force new ergo = 195g
Uno 7 90mm & ti bolts = 95g
Total = 290g

Saving 168g

Total saving to date =1865g

Few more details

Fork uncut =339g
Steerer spacers = 24g
Topcap/ bolt = 12g
Expander = 27g
Bearing top cap = 14g
Bearing inner race/ retainer = 2g
Top bearing = 19g
Bottom bearing = 24g

The steerer spacers will be changed for

BBB carbon spacers = 11g. saving 13g

The topcap/ bolt and expander are the next place to loose weight
I will update when this happens

Total saving to date =1878g

Target weight = 7.0 kg without pedals/ cage

Actual weight = 6.525 kg without pedals/cage

Build up nearly finished but needless to say I'm pleased

Good job.

You know you can remove logos on stem with aceton? Done that 3 times.
