Hi!

Im Swedish and work as a industrial designer at a company who makes orange chainsaws. Every year we have an internal 40 hour project, "create something", Having built 15 bikes in 3 years time, everyone with is different purpose, style and goal it was time to merge everything i wanted in to "one bike to rule them all". With "all" I meen cycling road, gravel, cross country, commuting and also a bit of adventure cycling as well as flashy café poser.

Without further mumbojumbo i present project Monstercross.

The basic specs was, all carbon, lauf fork, a dropper seat post, all held together with titanium bolts. All with a budget at around 2500 euro. Around 9000 grams with dropper, heavy pedals and lauf fork.

It all started with a Photoshop picture.

And ended with this.

If people think this is interesting, I will write the complete story with build pics.

And also, how do I attach "full" images?=)I would like to link pictures from my build thread at a Swedish forum: https://happyride.se/forum/read.php/1/3056899

Nice. I'd actually like to see a parts list. Might be building something similar soon.

very nice concept, did the company pay for this or did they just provide space and time to come up with the concept and the build?

btw, I'm a huge fan of your work on the chainsaws, great quality product you guys put out (560xp user)
But I could be wrong

Also, I should note that I am also a proud owner of a 290. Keeps me well stocked with hardwood, my stove lit, and my wife happy.

Is the 290 a Stihl?

I think it is the other (Swedish) orange chainsaw company !
