Fuchs Litespeed Vortex - 6140g - the everyday racer

There are a cheap 70 grams to be found in Seatclamps, QR & Expander I guess!
I like the quick releases, just bought the front one as i already had the rear one. I like the looks and they blend in to the bike.
The Seatclamp is heavy but even here i like the looks and like that it is a Litespeed made for the frame.
The original expander is really heavy, it works superb but that weight is just to much.
I will use this one which i had laying around.

It seems that there were a lot of different Ouzo. Maybe the early ones (mine is from 2002) were heavier than the newer ones.
I´m thinking about buying a Ritchey WCS Carbon Pro but i still do think about

Such a nice looking frame! Watching with even more interest now.
With all the parts i could put the bike together, just the right brakes are not here yet so i borrowed the ax from the Stevens.
The bike has now 6570g which is kinda nice for i bike i never really cared about the weight when buying the parts. But even so i will update some parts in the future and it should come down to under 6kg. For now i had the goal to get it together for the money i had for it which was 2500euro for the complete bike.
Made the first ride today, a 30km round which was a lot of fun! I liked the bike from the very beginning. As the frame has almost exactly the same geometry like my Stevens frame it was easy to get the right fit and i felt at home directly.
The bike feels fast and smooth and i liked it a lot. Of course it is not as stiff as my Stevens and you can hear the brakes rubb the rim when standing up. But hey who cares, it´s not that much and otherwise the bike feels just right. And when looking down it looks so nice with the titanium and all the black parts.
I´m really happy to have this bike now!l
Just have this one picture as i wanted to ride and it was getting dark. Will take more pictures soon.

yes it is around 2500€ but without the AX brakes.
There are some other nice brakes on its way instead.

Came out really nice. You may want to try putting a different wheelset on to see if it still rubs. I think Zipps with how they're built tend to rub more than other wheelsets, so it's possible it's not the frame but the wheels.
