IMO it is just perfect!
I like the pump too. You just need to cut down the extra fork steerer and remove the wheelset decals.

I just can't get over how beautiful that looks. May have to get me a Field someday.

@kgt don't worry, the steerer will be cut down. I just want to have a few long rides on it before I do so. Regarding the decals, I'm in two minds as to whether I should remove them or not. One of my mates reckons I shouldn't as it will make them look like cheapo Chinese carbon wheels, not that I'm really too bothered of people think that ;). I was thinking of just removing the big "Reynolds decals" and leaving the more subtle "Aero 58".

+1 on removing wheelset decals. No need to distract from that paint job!

Also, what about removing the red from the shifters and replacing with some gold somewhere? Maybe the shift paddle?

Just finished drooling over this build. Well done and good move not going with Disc. Those shoes are the business! Enjoy the miles.

@nismosr it's the Brooks C13 . It took my bum a little while to get used to it but it's great now. It's seen me through 400km rides and an Everesting also with no sores.

@nismosr damn, that's a good deal. Mine is the 132 but I have been very tempted as of late to get the Berk Lupina leather saddle.

Quick review of the bike for you. I think it will tell you all you need to know about how I feel regarding the bike.

Hello, Leicaman ... this is Fujiboy

And happy new year. I am thinking for making myself a present and switch from a Colnago steel to a new steel steed.

I know that a picture can be a thousand words but can u elaborate a bit more on the bike ?

I am 1.92 and 92 kilos and I would like to know how it accelerates and climbs. Not being a Froome body type ... would like to learn how it responds to accelerations and how it climbs. My current bike uses a Columbus SL tubeset so it feels a bit sluggish in the first 5 secs of acceleration.

How does it climb?

Happy new year
