Gold is looking cool, how is it fixed on, a light adhesive?

I don't know to be honest. They might use some kind of light adhesive to hold it on before they apply the fclear coats but that's just a guess.

Any further updates on this? Looks great so far.

Potentially looking to get a custom build myself from Harry.

@ryanw She is currently in the hands of FedEx, somewhere between Sheffield and Japan. Delivery schedule says it should be with me by Thursday 9th March. I can't recommend Harry and the guys at Field enough. Great guys to deal with and what you get is not only a fantastic bike but also a piece of artwork. Like all custom bikes though, be prepared for a very long wait (Definitely worth it).

I saw this on Field's instagram feed, can't wait to see the full build. How long did you have to wait? Hopefully mine will be painted soon!

@pijpie I waited over 1 year, less than two but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. She was delivered to my house this afternoon so I'll be unwrapping her when I get home from work later. Photos to follow of the frame, then she should be built up this comin. Saturday so expect more photos.

So yours is being painted soon huh? So I'm guessing you have finalised the design with Tom then. Looking forward to seeing it

@leicaman You must be so excited right now!

Design is finalised, hoping painting will start soon. The only thing I need besides the frame is a set of alloy clinchers and next year I will probably get some Bora's.

Only had time to unwrap her last night. Took a few snaps. Will obviously take more when she is built up.

That turned out awesome! Can't wait to see what it looks like built up.

My real question is what you shoot on though :) I'm currently rocking an m3 double stroke and picking up a 240 next week.

@kevosinn I have a few cameras that I like to use, although I haven't shot with them for a little while. Need to get them out and dish them off. I shoot an M6 with28mm elmarit ASPH lens but also like to use my Rolleicord, Tachihara 4x5 . The design for this bike was taken from a photo I shot on my Tachihara. Tom at Field took the lines from the photo and put them on the bike (both the blueridge lines and gold ridgelines).

Crappy iPhone picture showing the gold leaf on the dropouts (I really don't know how John managed to get the gold leaf in all the nooks and crannies, but he did, and I'm super happy with the result.
Enve 2.2s ready to go on the build also.

And here are my shoes I plan to ride in for the maiden voyage

Any idea what the frame weights?
