LTK118 size Medium/54. Ordered directly from company (via Alisa), paid with Paypal.
Custom paint considered were candy orange or electric blue. Settled on gunmetal to blend with Ultegra gray. (Thought against full-stealth-black).
I asked to leave the seattube raw, fading to paint at the seat and bb cluster.
Sent a computer mockup showing a very tight transition zone for Alisa to confirm, but picture attachment had technical errors, so i said "whatever I trust you"
What I got was a longgg fade. (See pic). Ended up having to do a half-ass sandpaper and spray-can clearcoat job. Chalk that up to oversight in communication.
Also wanted 3K-weave pattern with threaded BB. But only UD finish were readily stocked which I accepted to expedite the purchase.....but in the end the package got stuck at customs for 1 full month due to problem with the waybill/invoice. I didnt ask for any 'special' treatment on invoice so I advise you be explicit with your foreign sellers before buying.
Paint seems good - besides the portion i had to finish
Internals seems very clean, no manufacturing slop observed.
Frame straight and true.
Internal routing was a breeze with supplied guides/sheath.
(2) FD routing port had a tiny tiny painting/moulding overhang ... easily dremeled it off for the cable ferrule to slip in
(3) im not 100% sure ive fully seated the crown race. started banging it in using a water pipe (hooray 1EUR find at hardware store) but found out its not absolutely flush with the fork crown itself. maybe 0.5mm gap left. but the overall gap from fork to headtube seems acceptable. at the least, it probably will sort itself out after some riding.
(4) brake bridge not wide enough. rear caliper bolt doesnt sit flush. there is 1-2mm gap left. (but caliper held on tight).
