I used reflexite reflective material and layered it with a translucent colored changing tape I found from a hula hoop shop :)

something similar but not that color. I used the indigo. I got a whole bunch of samples in all the colors and liked the indigo best personally. My original inspiration came from this....then layering it on reflective was kinda an experiment on my own which seemed to work out quite well.
