Change the wheels total weight 406+496 is 902 not 906

Love it Tim, however if you can't make it to the top of Rose Hill in sub 7 minutes on that, I'm afraid you may be stripped of your SD Galactico status

Incidentally, I am extremely annoyed that I no longer have the lightest bike in the club as well. By about 900 grams!

Not sure what you mean by that...It rides virtually the same as my Scott Foil. Same stack / reach, same handlebar height etc...

Whilst being aimed as a hill climb bike, if I run it with a 50T front chainring, I can (and have) ridden it on long rides.

The build is nice and I like the options you have used. There are lighter options and cheaper options for the handlebars but I assume you had most of these parts.

Out of interest, which components do you think could go much lighter? I'm not talking saving a few grams, here and there. I was only interested in going sub 4.5kg. If I was aiming for a true hill climb bike, I could so a single speed version of this build for well sub 4kg.

The wheels - not much and, to my knowledge, nothing out there is lighter with wide rims.

The tubs - again, there aren't many lighter that are actually durable. No point using track tubs.

The handlebars - well, that's an interesting one. I selected the Zipp bars, because they were the lightest TT bars I could find. When aiming at a Di2 build, the lightest Di2 shifters are the TT ones - by quite a long way! Using TT bars also allowed me to use a very light left brake lever - the 3T TT lever. Overall, the combined weight of the bars, left and right lever are - I think - pretty much the lightest Di2 solution. I also managed to remove quite a bit of weight from the bars with sensitive Dremeling. The only way you can go lighter would be to use very light drop bars, but cut them and turn them upside down. Wasn't interested in that solution.
