I'm sure they are gathering for an emergency executive meeting to address this, Cal. *no winking emoji?*

Ha... the meetings are over. They got the cash they needed I suppose... and future discounts on handbags. Good for them.

Can you elaborate? What do you mean by "much more modern"?

Looks like the F8 with an integrated Di2 junction box. Also the fork has some round tabs near the axle.

the 'old' f8 aero was tested by tour mag to be 2 watts slower than the madone/venge(cervelo/felt were 1 watt slower). f10 is 12.6% more aero so it should have same aero as the cervelo/felt twins. direct mount brakes should allow for 28 mm tires. the extra fairing on the fork tip is similiar to the bike wiggins rode when he set the hour record. i predict campagnolo will come out with there own version junction box. the current eps will be difficult to integrate.

pinarello dealers will be p***. it is only january and they need to clear out the current stock of f8's.

Oh man! I hope the "modern" is not in the form of proprietary brakes and headsets and stems that one cannot modify geometry too much!
The F10 will be publicly released next week.

..A..

EDIT: By reading the info on the picture, yes I see several "improvements" that were overdue and should have been integrated with the F8: Direct mount brakes and junction box for electronic interfaces.

I concur with spartan. I hope the Campy interface would fit there and that this junction box is not a hassle as with the Trek. I have been told it is... Campy better come up with an alternative to their current interface, its bulky and the new LEDs are pathetic. One cannot see the light well in plain daylight as with the V2.

I would not change groups, just because a bike frame, too much investment in wheels, power meters, etc. I am glad Campy has great direct mount brakes now!

No, there will be a full LV F10 Edition, with the brown/gold colors and the customary LV pattern. LOL, joking...

The company that acquired Pinarello is actually a USA company and LV is just one of the investors. LV will not wholly own Pinarello.
