Hello, I will be building up a 53 Bianchi Specialissima Celeste in the coming days and weeks. It will be Campy SR/R EPS build with Deda Cockpit. Can't decide between the Campy Bora Ultra 35 clinchers or the new Specialized Roval 32 wheelsets. I like the Rovals and their fit with the S Works Turbo 26mm clinchers. Pics will be forthcoming of parts I have to date with scale weights.

Build List:
Bianchi Specialissima 53 Celeste
Campy Record FD EPS
Campy Super Record RD EPS
Campy Record EPS Levers
Campy Comp Ultra 53/39 Crankset
Campy Record 11/25 Cassette
Campy Overtorque BB
Campy V3 Interface & Battery
Cane Creek EE Brakeset
Deda Superleggera RS 42cm Handlebar
Deda Superleggera RS 90 stem
Deda Superleggero RS Seatpost
Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow Blk

Frame arrived on Christmas Eve. Just got a chance to take it out of the box and weigh it. I took photos of it on the scale, but having trouble uploading them? Any help or advice is appreciated. Weight of 53cm Celeste Frame is 853 grams with seat collar, water bottle screws and FD braze on. Uncut fork is 368 grams. Will be weighing all of the other components tonight and hopefully figure out how to upload images of scale weights. Thanks for browsing.

If you download Tapatalk on your mobile, take some pics with your phone, then attach from the gallery. I find that the easiest way.
Look forward to some pics.

Need a better scale. But just wanted to get something to start getting idea what final weight will be. Guessing on 6 kg? Have a pair of Reynolds attacks that I'm going to use for now; but trying to decide between Bora 35 and Roval 32 CLX. Definitely like the Roval numbers with the Specialized S Works Turbo 26 mm. About 20 watts savings, compared to current set up.

+10000 please don't put Sh!t works wheels on such a sweet bike. Plus Boras are significantly better in terms of build quality, rims and hubs.

If boras are already on your mind, then you know why. Boras finish it off.

re: wheels just go deeper. 35 mm or 32 mm not enough. bora 50 in dark would be wonderful. really looking forward to seeing the bike, the colour is fantastic. also, my two cents, but the extralite hyper stem, my experience was it induced speed wobbles. not stiff enough. i replaced mine with a 3t and speed wobbles gone. it is an amazing weight for the price but i do think speed wobbles are disconcerting and perhaps not worth it.

also i paste photos to imgur and then use a feature on that to link photos into posts. it sounds harder than it is. here are some photos of your frame with various wheels just to colour the thread.

lightweights and about 47 mm deep i think.

Image

then with bora dark 35 mm - lots of photos of this frame with these wheels online - looks pretty good too

Image

then with lower profile wheels (just my opinion of course but i think this also looks good but dura ace crank lets the side down a bit)

I love bianchis. Very stylish and beautiful. Stick with law or boras. Rivals belong on specialized
