I finished polishing the crankset, and it looks great. I put it on my Evo, and it saves 47g over the Si. It's also very fast, as I got a Box Hill KOM jersey on Zwift. The Evo will probably be its permanent home because it's to nice for a crit bike. I took some pictures of the arms during the polishing process, but they aren't too high quality.

I started with 400 grit wet sand to remove the former finish, which is the hardest part. I then wet sanded with 600, then 800, and 1000. Then I dry sanded with 2000. Next I used a product called Brasso, and then a 3M rubbing compound (will put pictures below). I used this multiple times, and finished it off with some car wax. The below pictures are of the polishes I used.

I apologize for not updating the thread in the last few weeks. I have been preparing for exams, but luckily that will be over after next week!
I have playing around with carbon shifter clamps. I can't justify the $60 price tag for aluminum or Ti clamps, so I have been working on early carbon fiber prototypes. I don't have any that I am ready to share at this point, but have some that will be coming in the next month.

I have been working on the clamps and am up to version 4. I now have a 3D printed mold and used it for the first time yesterday. I didn't use enough release agent and had to cut the clamp from the mold. I didn't have time tonight to make another, but will do so tomorrow. The carbon wrap didn't hold tightly so there are some ridges. I'll fix that as well. Here is the one it cut from the mold:
