First carbon fiber build for me. Getting the parts together.

Vumaquad was an unexpected purchase. Any installation tips? Are the new 4 arm rings for shimano or campagnolo compatible?

I have VumaQuad on one of my bikes. I remember the installation being pretty straightforward. I don't think the new chainrings from Shimano or Campy fit but am not sure, I know someone else will probably answer. You can find used rings online or one of the carbon chainring makers frequently posted on this board could make you some.

I found the compact rings worked better in general than the standard, though neither was really much of a problem.

There's nothing special about Vumaquad installation. Actually, I was very excited how smooth everything went. Good thing I had BSA30 wrench that came with Rotor cups, you will surely need one. And don't forget to torque the driveside arm up to the spec, mine has fallen off because I didn't the first time. Nothing a scale and allen wrench can't solve, though.
