Here's my contribution (14.8 lbs as shown):
Don't really have anything to compare it to since comparing it to a carbon seatpost on my old carbon Merckx would be apples and oranges. I think saddle choice makes the biggest difference. The stripped SLR is on the hard side, whereas the old Selle Flite full carbon saddle that I had was very flexy and absorbed all but the largest road bumps.
