A mix of Campy Record (hubs, seatpost), Chorus (cranks, bb, headset), Centaur (ergo), and Veloce (derailleurs and brakes). Selle Italia SLR saddle, Speedplay Zero Chromo pedals, classic Cinelli bar and stem. Polar power sensor. Heavy at 20.2 lbs (w/ Silca Pista pump)!! Great all-weather bike for training. This baby was sitting quietly in a corner of my LBS for years but I'm gone restore it. It's an 1992 Merlin (don't know the exact model) which used to be Steven Rooks' his spare bike camouflaged as a Rossin in Festina colors. Weights 1260 grams, which isn't bad for a 58 cm titanium frame with classic geometry.

And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

Finally got the darn thing finished! LBS was a bit slooow in getting a few common parts :?

It's an 05 Ghisallo (L), with nothing fancy really. Easton SLX fork, King h'set, DA10 drivetrain & controls, Thomson X2 stem (bit overkill perhaps, but nice), FSA RD200 bars, Ritchey WCS seatpin, Spesh Toupe saddle, Ksyrium SSC's (in their 3rd season now & still straight as you like without being trued)

Had first race on this last weekend, & have to say I was impressed. Considering the amount of talk about flex, I didn't notice any undue flex at all. Could be a lot lighter if I tried, but I'm happy for now. Got offer of a very good deal on some Stratus DV's if I can twist my own arm...

Cheers.

Only thing I'm not overly impressed with is that naff glossy finish of the WCS post which scratched when I threw my kit bag on the back seat of the car (where the bike was sitting). Hum-ho......

I've upgraded a few things since these photos (new matte easton SLX, BB, ultra chain, tape, etc...) but you get the drift. Thinking about a set of matte finish Pulsions but a part of me wants to wait for the new Campy cranks...choices...
