Custom Serotta built in 2012 (probably one of the very last independent frames before they got acquired by Divine Cycling Group as it was shipped on 5/15/12). Fortunately it was an EP bike and Ben never actually billed me the remaining balance so I'm not out that much money, but obviously no warranty :(

As to how, the crack propagated from the weld (hard to see in the picture, it started right along the weld on the downtube side). I had noticed a minor clicking when I braked over a few rides which I figured was a headset issue, tightened it up, rode it another two times and then found that crack after a ride when I was cleaning it (I wipe down the bike after every ride, so the majority of the crack happened that last ride).

Fortunately I had already begun piecing together a new bike (see my Felt AR thread) so wasn't without a bike for too long.

shlammed, it's a custom size (see geometry here). I haven't actually bothered to deal with it yet. I'm not the type of person to have multiple bikes kicking around so am probably going to sell it, I just haven't looked into if selling it broken and having the buyer repair it or repairing it and then selling it makes more sense.

Here it was in all it's glory. RIP

Damn, she was quite the stunner. Sorry for your loss, hopefully someone can fix it and give it a good 2nd life.

My Italian-Japanese mix.

Tig-titanium's OZ-R210 frame with cross oval downtube

Chorus standard groupset
Deda zero finishing kit
Fulcrum Racing Zeros with Vittoria Rubino Pros
Selle Italia Maxflow gel saddle
Minoura bottle cages and flat pedals

Weighed 8.2kg but will update again when I get my speedplays on it.

Update:
Changed the pedals to cry-mo speedplay light action and some ti bolts for the cages.
Lost some weight to 7.9kg

Insanely beautiful Antti!
Are the Ambrosio's black or anodized black? Nice contrast with the silver spokes!

The Ambrosios are anodized graphite grey. I just love that wheelset with Veloflex tubs... It's getting harder and harder to find those hubs in good condition anymore.

Just finished building it up this week, still have a few bits coming in the mail this week, XTR rear derailleur and shifters, and a flat 3t bar, which should help the position immensely.
