How tough is plasti dip? being removable, do it wear off easily? I have a tendency to sit on the top tube but really want to play around with plasti dip.

I think it is quite durable.
If it is used on cars and rims, with all that road tar and salt, bike would be totally fine.

This is the replay from DeepYouCar, on last uploaded video.
Longest Plasti Dip car still running - 5 years 4 months. Longest AutoFlex car running, 19 months. As long as it's applied correctly, it will hold up great!

I just put some final High Gloss Top Coat, to protect the dip and get some shine. Now it is going to be much easier to clean.
This also give more UV protection, it can be polished, Anti-scratch, resistant to gasoline.

The finish is little textured, but the surface is now smooth to the touch, not rubbery like Plasti Dip finish.
You can get finish without the textures, but didn't want to risk it with wet application and get paint run.

I am satisfied with the result considering, all the masking involved, which is not easy with Plasti Dip, especially using two colors on top of each other.
O and of course, that this is faaaar from a professional paint job.

Didn't want full glossy finish and got lucky with last Gloss Top Coat.
Just the right amount of silky gloss, the match the original paint. :D

Why would you add weight to your frame to turn it into a fake S-Works? Just seems like a lot of work to be a poser.

This is just for fun, why not.
Plasti dip and stickers are adding only 25g to a total weight of the fork and frame. It is only dipped in the front.
If 25g is a lot of weight for you, then.... :noidea:

O and for posing I have this. :P

Did you clear coat the whole frame or just the masked out plastidip parts?
