That's really a great point. Why do they bother with that much extra carbon.

thx for commenting everyone!

soo, i stopped using wend wax on my drivetrain.
the crud and buildup was causing excess drag and hesitant shifting.
stripped chain, cassette, chain rings of the wax . reapplied silca nfs pro lube

cleaned up the eps wiring, attached the eps dti to my k-edge mount.
shrink wrapped L and R eps shifter cables to the brake cables .
