Good thing you bought the last of the "giant" protos framesets.. They unveiled the new Protos and the frame looks watered down again.

I've only seen a few pictures of the new Protos, doesn't look watered down to me. Looks like a King with a horizontal top tube, direct mount brakes in traditional locations, not sure what BB.

I heard the rumblings with respect to design tweaks and quickly ordered one before they ran out of tubing for the 2016 Protos.

Cockpit all sorted; matte 3k carbon fiber. Time bar, WR Compositi stem and seatpost.

Is that a 27.2mm WR Compositi seatpost? If so would you be kind enough to confirm the weight? Ta

It's a 31.6 in a 340mm. I need to get a new scale to weigh the post sorry. The alpha version is more geared towards the weight conscious.

Rough build completed, still need to perform:

- fitting to cut the steerer tube;
- clean up wiring; and
- tuning of the EPS shifting.

IMHO this is going to be one of the nicest looking builds on WW that I've seen for a while. Italian to boot :-)

Nice bike for sure but level out your bars! I guess its perfect if you're comfortable but those hoods are sloping downwards....

Yep I noticed it on my ride today and had them leveled and the stem dropped and extra tube cut.

Decided to get some WR Compositi wheels laced to carbon-ti hubs with a matte 3k weave instead of lightweight meilensteins.

Still need to decide on the water bottle holders - black or white.

I have not heard of WR Compositi before reading this thread. I checked out their website. Looks like some nice stems and handlebars made in Italy.

It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

That is a great looking bike.
Perfect choice of parts.

Why you want to change the Bora's?
