My Litespeed Titanium from 1993 with Dura Ace 7400, Topline (PBC) cranks, Hügi hubs with Mavic Open Pro rims. The rims are yellow anodised ("citron"). More pictures in my blog: http://vive-le-velo.blogspot.ch/2016/10 ... anium.html

Nice! Old school!

Is the chain just a old spare that you wrapped on it just to get some photos? Kind of stands out with how clean the bike is - but the chain looks dirty/worn and is missing pins and looks held together by the chain ring.

In the nineties I could not afford the Dura Ace parts (or Hügi). Now I enjoy putting together the bikes with all those nice parts.

No, the chain is brand new, no missing pin. I guess what you see is the chain link which I had to flex a bit so that it moves freely.

A Merlin Extralight (or Cyrene) is still on my wish list :-)

Oh, that is beautiful and the frameset brings back memories.
I can recall standing in TOGA Bikes in 1993 and literally tossing a coin on which frame I would buy and that was one of the final choices.
The coin landed the other side up though and, while I loved what I got then, I always regretted not having the Ultimate.
Stunning build with really subtle fine details you have there.

Thanks. Yes, most of the parts are only lightly used, the rims are NOS.

In the nineties the Ultimate was one of my dream bikes. At that time too expensive for me. Last year, I had a lot of fun building the bike.
