that should be the default option, unless something more 'invisible' comes up.
still have to find a way how to be able to put a bell on my aeroad, which doesnt have a have a round part on the bars.
thanks for the suggestion.

Just had a little read through your thread. Major frameset envy!! The colours go so well together.

tinkered with the pedals.
stock speedplay ti's weighed.
the one on the left are with ward spindles, but need to replace the bearings first so using the stock ones for now.
black ti butterflies and bolts
less 21g.

KCookie, roadtested a couple of times already but build not completely done, will post pics later!
changed cockpit last night to squeeze out a few grams.
unbranded compact handlebar
uno6 -7 stem. -10 would have been perfect (same angle as toptube) but easton and pro both on the heavy side.
debadged and with ti bolts.

Did you have any issues mounting the shifters to the bars?
I have a set that look like to have similar shape and finish, and I was not able to mount 2012 sram shifters to them because the diameter of the shifter clamping area was too small.

@gangbang- alibaba. can also be seen in ebay.
i had experienced those with chinese 3T ergosum-shaped bars before. clamping on this bar (different shape from ergosum) was fine.

had been riding this build since 2 weeks ago but had not posted till i settled on the final components.
first weigh was 5080g, tried to go under 5kg, hence the cockpit change, cut the seatpost, some ti bolts and ti pedal bowties/ screws.
tried a 250g cockpit combo which would bring it to 4980g but didnt like it when mounted. easy to get an extralite stem but too expensive and not my style. so stopping at 5010g. will worry about sub-5 later.
hope you like the build.
buildlist:
frameset: factor 02 turquoise
handlebar: unbranded compact carbon, UD glossed
stem: uno6 -7 stem, debadged and tuned with ti bolts
seatpost: token carbon 27.2, debadged and UD glossed, max-cut*
saddle: berk lupina saddle, UD gloss
shiftkit: sram red Etap
drivetrain: FSA K-force light BBright/ extralite RC2 chainrings/ ybn black 11s chain/ recon 11-29t cassette*
wheelset: extralite C26 tubular/ vittoria crono-evo CS/ carbon-ti QR skewers
cables: nokon universal kit
brakes: ciamillo GSL, carbonlord edition / campagnolo carbon pads
pedals: speedplay ti, tuned
photos.

5kg for a non-ww frame and with an electronic groupset on is great! Nice build and I think the unbranded cockpit work fine. The graphics on the cranks are a little distracting though, sand it down maybe? [emoji16]

suggestions on the crank graphics already thrown in page 2, like stickers above clear. as ive said, clear coat is too thick to be able to isolate and sand it down. it has to be complete buff of topcoat, sand and change color, respray. crankarm topcoat is in pristine condition so not in the mood to work on it yet.
