been eyeing this brand since the Ves Vires, something out of the ordinary.
after i sold the storck, decided this was the replacement.
the aeroad will become the daily ride.
from the box.
FACTOR O2, size 52. 520 stack, 376 reach, almost similar to the aeroad and with a 47.5 seattube ht.
very clean headtube/fork interface, mechanical and electronic shift-hole plugs and cane creek 40-series headset (will change to a lower stack on this one).
seat cluster with integrated seatwedge
dropout and rear cable exit
BBRight, under BB cover (rubber plug for electronic shown, plastic guide for mech included)
Ves Vires wasnt UCI approved, the current models are.
origin country, made in taiwan.
weights.
frame 803g size 52 actual weight. claimed 740g weight should probably be the size 48, bare frame.
fork 325g uncut
came with black inc 27.2 seatpost, but will probably use another seatpost on this build.
light for setback post with very secure clamping.

Nice to see another Factor frame popping up on weightweenies. How are you going to build up this beauty?

thanks! same formula as previous: keep the purchases to the minimum, a little bit of diy but mostly will use parts i already have from the storck and R5 builds. targetting a solid weight but nothing extreme.

Finally something unusual.

nope didnt had any of the 2 recent iterations. wanted to have but i already have an aeroad so went with another brand for this build. though i rode ultimate CF in 2009 and again in 2011.

Can't wait to see the finish bike. I'm a huge fan of Factor.
