Hello WW, long time reader here, got infected and loved the forums super fast! Awesome community and awesome source of all kind of information and little tricks, thanks a lot!

The new bike will replace my beloved 6 year old Canyon Ultimate AL which will become my winter bike.

Since I have to take care not to exceed my account limit it wont be a 100% WW but I am trying my best. To do so I am/was willing to go through quite some risks by buying the brand new FM-008 (FM066 EVO) after long time thinking and reading over 140 pages of the Hongfu FM-066/Chinese open mould frame threadnaught and going trough a long waiting time to get a pair of the bc Flechtwerk 45 Evo Road Carbon Wheelset. I bought all parts over the last 8 months or so trying to make the most out of my money picking up all the discounts/special offers and Ebay.

Please find a list of the major parts below.

Stem - Ritchey WCS C260 110mm 6°

Pedals - Look Keo 2
Polar/garmin/computer mounts - China

I will try to post pics and weights for the more "exotic" parts in order of arrival. I am still waiting for at least two orders and plan to built it asap to ride it the first time next week at a 200km marathon I go to in Germany

Looking great so far! Tan walls are looking awesome with all the matte carbon. What seller did you pick the frame up from?

V interested to hear your experience with the seat clamp when you get a few miles under your belt.

Nice build... was hoping someone to build one up on here.

I think it is flybike who is making these, they are a large producer of frames for a lot of major brands.

I know Tan Tan offered me this frame when I got my fm066.

How is the tire clearance, I heard it may be a little tight?

It's from Hongfu. I think they are the more expensive seller but I am absolutely stunned by quality and workmanship of the frame so it was worth the premium.

It's sooo bad in terms of mounting as its not fixed to the frame, made of two small parts and thus keeps/kept falling into the seat tube. Didn't sit on it yet but the first mounting test was good in the end and I think it will work fine. Will make a pic of it if you want and ofc post when I get the experience.

No issues so far even tough the Flechtwerks are 24 mm wide and I am using 25c Corsas.

In the meantime I am unfortunately stuck building as I miss the stupid plastic ring to tighten the BSA BB and the postman just doesn't want to finally ship me the 3€ tool  The webshop I ordered it from didnt even send it out yet even though I ordered Sunday

You mean that plastic star tool for a Shimano crank?

Tighten that thing with a piece of metal cut to length and you'll be fine!

It seems you didn't spend enough time to mount them properly aligned with the valve stems!

Yeah, I am well aware of that :| When I started putting them on they were aligned but it was so hard to get them on it that they moved. Impossible to move back. My plan was to do this when I have to remove or fix them the next time and hope they stretch enough until then...

Currently having some issues with the Chinese headset which leaves some gaps between fork and frame, and frame and bars. I wrote a mail to Hongfu today asking for advice. If that wont help ill go as is for now and keep my eyes open for an other one e.g. like @Miller did with his.

In the meantime I am still waiting for the stupid BB tool, ordered it at bike-components today so it should arrive Tuesday. Super sad about the other shop which was unable so far to ship a 3€ plastic piece... :|

To pass some time please find below some more pics/weights of the more "exotic" parts. Love the Ritchey WCS parts by the way, the stem is amazing!

The seat clamp for @sib by the way. You attach the two triangle parts inside the frame with the bolt. When tightening it the bottom triangle will "push out" the second one which clamps the seatpost.
