1st and 5th in their cat.

Sadurday's race was a technical fail for me, the mechanic.
I put wayyyy to much pressure in the tires, and chose the "light and fast" wheelset over "traction"...
Soon after a few hundred meters in the first lap, it would be a skidding and spills festival for the twins... :oops:
I received some good advice from the "pros" around the race course, and the second day was a lot better for them ( and me) .

The U17 girls started 15 seconds after the Elite women.
Still they managed to finish before a few good elites, from teams like Hot Sauce and Green Lite Velo.

Good stuff.

Good rule of thumb for cross is as low as you think you can go, then drop another 5psi. ;)

(Not really, but I am amazed at how much air some otherwise very experienced/fast riders think they need!)
