@ultimobici, I hear you on the nervousness of Time bikes. I had an RXR, outfitted down to 5.8kg's, was snappy as heck but would take to borderline "pi$$ing myself" on decents... It takes a great deal of time getting used to that frame and I can only take that the VXRS was no different.

@ultimobici, jimaizumi
Have to agree that the VXRS isn't the best descender out there, unlike the Colnagos.
However that alone doesn't prevent me from having a one heck of a TIME (no pun intended lol)..

Requested to have the frame/fork painted in pearl white, with WC stripes (to commemorate Bettini's WC winning VXRS), with subtle TIME branding.
Should be receiving the frameset sometime next month..

Cheers!

perfect paint! maverick_1 this is exactly what i would have had it painted like if i had perfect taste. it is beautiful. well done to you for commissioning such perfect work. it reminds me of this, my current dream bike. berk saddle looks amazing on it too.

as a side note i am off to japan in september hopefully, please can you tell me where this ride (as pictured) was? i need some ideas for riding destinations.

Thats one nice looking ride and I'm sure you'll get the usual "ooh's" and "aaahs" from onlookers alike..

Is that saddle fused to the seatpost as I can't see any seatpost clamp.

Just get yourself a world champion jersey a la Bettini and you'll be golden!

@mrgray,
thanks for the compliments, will send you a PM tonite regarding the riding destination in Japan

@jimaizumi
lol...nope the combo isn't fused inside the ISP.
Still keeping the original TIME 27.2mm seatpost (which has been extended as well) just in case if I intend to swap saddle(s) in the near future.
Awaiting the frameset arrival next month!!

very nice !! well done i do like the fact that the front triangle looks different from the two sides !i always loved these frames, personally i would love one with 10 speed record, ally crancks deep classic drops and at least a 140 mm stem ! (-:

@michel2
Thanks!
I did consider the 10 speed record group (with UltraTorque crankset), but the 10s Record Ergoshifters aren't particularly friendly to my wrist unfortunately.
But deep classic drops with 140mm stem?? Not possible :lol:

Most mundane ( from side) looking time I've ever seen... but I like it compared to the rolling billboards of the past. Nice use of stripes .. maybe TT to seat post is a bit much

@AJS914

Jure sent me a pic of the saddle combo inserted into the ISP without the clamp.
Nonetheless the seatpost clamp will be necessary on the actual build.

Cheers
