dudemanppl wrote:Sucks to hear on the crash :( How much was the replacement if you don't mind sharing? I actually just put Super Record on this, need to update! I'm already looking at a new frame.... I hate my addiction.

The replacement frame, fork, and headset was $2500CAD ($1900US) before the 5% British Columbia bike sales tax. Considering most new frames of the same calibre would set me back north of $6k, I think it was a so-so deal for a crash replacement.

Alloy brake nuts, took the pad holder grub screws out (2.6g for all 4!). Just use Campy fit pads and they don't fall out.

just a curiosity: why have you swapped Red groupset for Super Record?
I was thinking to do the opposite on my ride, mainly for weight reason, but I still don't like those silver parts (brakes, fd, rd) on the Red..

I use what I want to use.

This is my list of priorities:

1. Function
2. Aesthetics
3. Cost
4. Weight

Normally I wouldn't be a fan of the mixed group, but with the extralite rings, the Red crank blends in pretty well. This is my favorite iteration of your bike yet.

Yeah I sanded the logos off so they're just carbon cranks. Lots of folks on here do it.

Has my brother commented on your obsession with photographing shit in front of his garage yet?
