It had been so long since I put any miles in on a steel bike, that I wasn't sure if I would still like it. Since I liked how it rode so much, I am selling and going to splurge on something really nice. So....it is for sale. I'll post it up in the for sale section later.

Lemond Zurich 853 Reynolds tubing with Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork. 55 x 56.5.

The bike came with a refinish that was pretty poor, and the fork needed a little love. I repainted myself in my DIY paint room, finished it with tons of clear coat so it looks super glossy. Then chrome decals. Paint is charcoal with tons of pearl, which the photos don't really pick up.

Cane Creek Headset silver
Ritchey WCS 27.2 alloy seatpost
Bontrager Serano saddle ti rails
Pro PLT silver stem 110mm
FSA-RD 200 42cm bar
White Fizik bar tape
Sram Rival drivetrain
Race Rim 50mm Carbon clinchers
Contri GP 4000s II 25mm tires
DA 7900 pedals
Fabric cageless bottles

I refinished the sram rival because there was severe pitting on it. A little steel wool and clear coat and they looked really good after.

Will post pics of the complete build a bit later. Here is the frameset.

There are some before and after photos on here too.

Always nice to see an old bike given the attention it deserves.
