I bought this a few years ago when my training bike snapped and then used it for a season and then stored it away. After a rubbish road season I've decided to give it a new build.

Target is 6.8kg so any ideas are welcome

As soon as the new chainring arrives it should be good to go.

Plan is to buy dura ace 9000 bb and use a gxp adapter.
Lh crank still needs razor treatment
Acetone on the stem
Steerer cut
Ti v brake bolts with cnc pads.

When finished this should be around 7.1kg with spd m540 pedals - looking for an alternative but even xtr aren't much lighter and egg beaters aren't reliable.

Forks appear to be the other area to save substantial weight.

Final plan is to sandblast the frame and clear over, the forks would also be stripped if I went that route.

Love that frame colour, personally I'd leave it standard.
Looks like you have the rest of the build sorted. [emoji1303]

I have a light weight, carbon Ritchey fork on my Cannondale cx bike and it's noodly. I hate it. On the other hand, I have a tapered 500g carbon fork on my BH cx and it's stiff. I love it. So I'm just saying, be careful going to a light fork for cx.
