TITANIUM FRAME -- Forgot this has the included steel seat post clamp on it. I'll update the weight photo in a bit when I remove it....

I've never had a Ti frame before - and I know there are many different kinds of 'finishes' for them.

I'll just say though - my impression of the 'finish' on this frame is "Poor. Half-Assed. Sloppy." More words I won't even put here.

Looks like someone at Lynskey got their 4 year old to scratch up the frame with a steel wool pad.

Interesting. What finish is that? Industrial Mill? Mine (industrial mill) is not as scratched. I took all the stickers off, though. Only have the Lynskey badge up front. Maybe call them and tell them you aren't satisfied. They are pretty cool peeps.

Give them feedback or they won't pick up their game!

Yeah it's Industrial Mill. I'll send Lynskey the link to this post with the photos.

Also - how'd you take the stickers off? Heat and peel?

I peeled them off and used acetone to clean up the residue. Not too much shadowing from the stickers.

Hope all goes well with Lynskey.

Removed the decals... Peel off and then rub down with a bit of WD-40 takes care of the rest...

GROUP SET

I'd like to thank Pink Bike member Bikewholesaler for setting me up with this group set. He came through for me exactly when I needed. Look him up if you need anything!

Red 22 part weighings are a dime a dozen on this site but for the sake of completeness and weight accuracy I'll be posting them here...

Looking good so far! I fitted my Helix with Red 22 as well. Red Quarq Exogram crank.

I had to buy a Sram 34.9 braze on adapter for the front derailleur. You may have to do the same.

nice bars. :)
