Planning a build similar to the "budjetweenie" thread but unsure whether to start with a Fuji SL 1.1 or an Argon 18 Gallium Pro. very similar weights and cost here in Oz. Won't be able to see or touch one prior to ordering............. any imput would be appreciated. Don't have a "set" budget but will also be aiming for the 5kg target. Basic plan @ this point is MCFK bars, seat, stem & maybe seat post, THM cranks with Praxis, Xentis 2.5 tubs with Veloflex Carbons but unsure with drive train and brakes............

Good point, riding a Pina F8 in size 50 would be looking @ something similar geo-wise.

With the components you suggested there's no way you'll go above 5kg for the build, feeling excited for you already!

It will certainly be uber light with a spec list like that!! Personally, I'd like to see an Argon 18 build

so consequently i would consider choosing frame with more-similar geometry.
