It could do with some higher rims, no?

ps: what's that thing on your valve? I hardly see anyone using those, some brands of inner tubes don't even have threads on the valves anymore. No need to use them so shed some weight :-)

These are just the training wheels, have some slightly deeper carbon tubs, though looking at a set of 808s to complete.

Nefarious86 is correct, it anchors the tubeless valve. Vittoria make some nice matching black valves so they look a little more low-key. The rear is just a standard tube, had a bit of chaos this morning and needed a quick fix.

1415chris, think it's the lighting a bit, but it's seen a few of those stupid number stickers, probably needs a good scrub.

How do the EE brakes compare to the Sram Red?

So far I've only done one ride on the road with just the front ee and rear Sram (was waiting for the adjuster screw to arrive) and it felt like a good brake. The ride was a race (crit nationals) so was mostly just happy to have a the stopping power going into a hairpin turn.

Both brakes are fitted now, so should have a pretty good idea after a week of training.

Looks stealthy with the black tape. I have a 2014 s5 and much prefer the newer black paint job as opposed to the gray, red and white.

Look at the new 2017 paint, you may start liking 2014 scheme :)

@glam2deaf haven't you thought about EE front aero option?

I may be wrong, but isn't the aero option just the direct mount?

Also tbh I completely forgot about an aero option. I rushed my order with our Cane Creek importer the day they announced the ee partnership.

I'm very much a fan of the original paint, now with the 2017 out. Can't get over the seatpost either.

My buying spree has started showing up, few more bits and pieces to drop the grams a bit more.

First up is the Ward Ti spindles.

57 grams for the pair.

Bad news is that due to a crash I'm currently looking at 6 weeks out with a broken hand. Time to get some solid kms on the erg done now.

Forgot to post a pic with the 808s, snapped this the night before Nationals. Not sure if I like them without decals, might go for the black Zipp decals to keep them stealth.

More goodies arriving via Skunkworks, going to be tricky installing one handed.

Good weight saving and very good improvement in aesthetic department.
These Elites are simply ugly.
