Checked out the skewers.

No-name Ti & carbon

Chose a very light (and probably not very durable) cassette.

Took off the Praxis rings.

Fitted some Extralite Octaramps.
Image

And some eeBrakes.

Had the frame drilled for di2 and shaved off the cable stops.

Added a UCB Speedcage.

Built and weighed it.

And ended up with this.

That's a sweet build! I wish I could get down to a 145lbs so I could dream about riding a set of AX Lightness wheels.

Rider weight limit is 220lbs (100kg). I'm 169lbs (77kg). Go buy some.

I would love to hear your thoughts on your wheels. I have the same wheels (w/ tune hubs) and really like them. I love this build, it looks amazing! The only thing I am not sold on is the enve stem as it looks a bit bulky on this build....

Ah, that. Just IMO the most beautiful bike. Not in any sense a weight weenie. It's a Zullo "Vintage" - I picked it up second hand, had it repainted by Zullo, then built it up with Athena 11 (because it's the only modern gruppo available in a shiny alloy finish), built some Nemesis on (modern) Record hubs with Sapim Race, a Chorus Ti post and Selle Italia Flite 1990 with Ti rails, the standard-issue Cinelli Giro d'Italia bars and A1 stem combo and a Ti bottle cage. The only jarring elements are the chainset - Athena carbon - and the Speedplay Ti pedals; I might change the chainset for a Centaur alloy one (because I'd like to stick with UltraTorque instead of PowerTorque); the pedals will have to stay. I am also restoring an Alan Record Carbonio, which will be built with period C-Record and some period drillium/Ti parts; that will be on toe-clips.

Here's a quick'n'dirty pic with more books:

Tell you tomorrow - haven't ridden them yet. Saturday is RP day, so S5 with CXR80s this morning.

Stem, bars and post will likely change at some point in the next year as I start to chase a sub-5kg build. Probably an AXL or Mcfk stem, Schmolke TLO bars (maybe a Berk combo) and a Berk combo for the post and saddle. That and some Streeters should get me down to about 5.1kg. Thereafter it's cages and other bits of fiddling/tuning. I could obviously drop 300g by changing the chainset, but I want to keep the power meter, and I think the PowerLT is the lightest option for a power crank for the Cervelo at the moment. Possibly a Red 22 crank with a Stages arm might be lighter, but you have to account for the step-down adapters for the BB, since the BB30 Red is too narrow.

THM m3 srm is the lightest option that'll fit a Cervelo at 450g sans Chainring and bolts.
