Been dreaming about a Mapei Colnago since 2002 but have never been able to afford one or find one in the right condition and size..............until now. Got this EPS Mapei, size 56cm traditional as a new old stock frameset that I will be building over the next month. So far I have just taken the parts off my C59 and put them straight on the EPS but they are not permanent and will be changing. Will post developments as they happen but very excited.

This is sweet! I love Mapei Colnagos and own a C40 Mapei.

Keep the pictures coming.

Thanks Duvivr6, I love the C40 Mapei's but just couldn't get hold of one.

Interestingly, my C59 frame/forks, headset (with cut steerer tube) weighed 1,666grams in a size 52s. The EPS in 56cm traditional weighs 1,730grams. only 64grams heavier which I plan to shave off else where in the build.

Will keep the pictures coming as it progresses and the parts I have ordered arrive.

That looks like another cracking addition to your Colnago stable

P.S If possible, can you get some close-up shots of the paint finish please, thanks!

Cheers
