I'm from Sao Paulo and there's pretty cool place to ride here, check It out:

We went to a trainning riding yesterday, It's 100km out from Sao Paulo and we rode 45km to get to this waterfall, my girl rode with me since It was a recuperation ride.

Hi Sandal, we removed the clear coat and painted the red area with green, the red stills under it.

Can you show us a pic of where the cable pinch bolt on the XX mech is placed?

Thanks

:welcome: Thank you Tdberg, yesterday I was driving my car coming back from a race and stopped to refuel and noticed some folks staring at my green epic when I came up with... "hum probably i'm the only guy in the world that have a green 2009 specialized epic" and I realized that this is the GREAT THING about TUNNING bikes we are all the same, but pretty much different from each other, It's better than supersports cars!!!! So we probably will never find two custom bikes with the same paintjob.

and my Specialized Epic S-Works 2011:

Me and my partner riding the most AWSOME SINGLETRACKS in Brazil during CLARO BRASIL RIDE 2010 - The Brazilian CAPE EPIC, actually, better than the Cape Epic according some riders who rode both. This race was a six day stage race with 600km and 11000m of elevation gain. MUD, ROCKS, ROOTS STREAM CROSSING and everything you can find at CHAPADA DIAMANTINA in BAHIA - BRAZIL

Both of the new rides look great. The S Works is obviously your racing machine, but how do you like the Epic Evo? It would be interesting to hear a comparison between the two. Those trails look kick ass too!

Tony, If I sit on both bikes and compare I'll choose the 26" because I've been riding for 10 years on 26" so It's damn unfair!

I think that the whole 29er thing is a new learning to ride again. If you try to ride a 29er just like a 26 and riding I mean by pedaling you'll think that the bike is heavy and slow, but actually you are wasting energy with strong pedal strokes instead of being more economic and that's what 29er is all about, It's economic-riding that in the long run will provide more energy to the cyclist.

I thought none would notice, not on this forum... anyway, I was racing a MONSTER 6 day MTB STAGE RACE with 11000meters of ascent and 600 km with a LOT OF MUD and tecnical sections, It's the BRAZILIAN CAPE EPIC, It's called CLARO BRASIL RIDE. And I was carrying mine and my partner's stuff.

Now the GOOD PART:

That 26" is awesome! Nice weight, even with these grips which are quite heavy right?

Any upcoming plans for a light 29"?

Cerro It's a SRAM crankset with 32 ring and a chainguide that came with the 29er EVO, but I changed to the 26!!!

L3X this grips are heavy but I love they, too comfortable and the best part is that It gave me more handling on the bike.
