Hello...
Hi from Jakarta, Indonesia.
I just reached a significant milestone in the series of upgrades to my 2014 GTR Grand Turismo.
I finally pulled the trigger on Zipp 303 Firecrest, and thought to get your tips and comments in my quest ahead.
I know the GTR is a mid-range "sportive/endurance" roadbike that won't wow weight-wise, but I would be keen to share, and vice-versa if anybody made it to the sub 8kg mark.
Its currently 8.330gr. I think what has remained from the original build is just the saddle.
I think I can reduce by another 100g on saddles, and perhaps 50-100gr for carbon cockpit.
Would anybody know the weight of the frame? Maybe I can get hand on a second 2016 GTR 2016 frame, which should be around 900gr.
In the meantime I enjoy the look and still focusing on "upgrading" myself so that i can ride 80-100km including climbs without a thought/effort.
