I've been visiting this forum for about a month or two and I've been meaning to post a picture of my bike but it's taken me a bit longer than I thought to get it put together. This site has been great help in finding just the right equipment for the bike. Here goes the build list:

Frame: Parlee Z3c 53cm
Fork: Alpha Q sub 3
Stem: Syntace F99 (stock bolts)
Bar: Easton EC90
Shifters: DA 9 spd
Derailleurs: DA 9 spd
Chain: DA 9spd
Cassette: DA 9 spd 12-25 (may get some Cycle-Dynamics 11-24)
Calipers: Zero G Ti-05
Crank: FSA carbon compact
BB: FSA Ti (may change to American Classic or Token Scandium)
Pedals: Performance Forte CR150 Ti
Wheels: American Classic Sprint 350
Tires: Continental Attack/Force
Tube: Performance Forte Lunar Lite
Skewers: Bold Precision Ti
Cages: Specialized plastic
Saddle: Terry Zero
Seatpost: FSA SLK (M2 racer carbon seatpost has been ordered)

As it stands, with the computer, it's around 15.5 lbs. I know I can get lighter pedals, but I like the old look type pedals. It's about economy also since my other three bikes have look type pedals.

Looks great!

Good to see you are replacing that seatpost for a proper weenie one though!

The one thing I don't like the look of is the bidon cages - you could do with some btp carbon cages to go with this beauty.

Yeah, new cages have and are being considered. It's just not too high on my priority list since the weight savings is minimal. I am kind of leaning towards the Zipp's maybe. I'm not too sure that the BTP's or other super lightweight cages will work too well with the Parlee's cage bolts. I also need something that'll work with my existing set of bottles and hold up on tar and chipped roads that I encounter around here.

I am thinking about getting the same pedals. How do you like them? Are you using Look cleats with them or the cleats that come with the pedals? How compatible are the pedals to the Look brand cleats?

Thanks,

The pedals are OK for the price. After about 1000miles, it started to click on the left pedal. I've opened it up and repacked it with new grease and that seems to have solved the problem. Overall, I'd give it a thumbs up since it was only $79 when I got it.

I'me currently using the Look delta cleats (red) with them and have had no problems whatsoever. I'd say they are 100% compatible.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'll get them this week. Performance is doing double points this weekend. :-)

i thought that your bike should be lighter,it looks fantastic and i think you may have some conservative scales!got to be the finest looking frame on the market.
