One of the WeightWeenie members provided me with some very nice information.

YBN is 1.98 g/link
KMC 10SL 2.18
KMC 11SL 2.09

For 105 links:

208g
229g
220g

So, the choice is easy. The wife gets my KMC chain from the Litespeed and the Litespeed gets a YBN chain

I use a YBN with Fibre lyte chain ring. I don't use any lube. If I get caught in the rain then I wipe the dirt off with a baby wipe I then apply a tiny tiny tiny amount of ceramic lube. Thats it.

Any news on the magnesium wheels? I think they would look absolutely amazing on this build. It would definitely stand out. You could polish them and take photos and then clear coat them. I love the striped silver hubs idea too. Looking forward to seeing it finished!!

@craciunptr - Hello I have everything I need for the Magnesium wheels. I just need to get around to putting it all together. The brakes not working distracted me and I stopped working on the bike. I will get this puppy finished as soon as I get my carbon leaf spring from Starbike. I was thinking gumwall tires would look really cool with an all silver wheelset. I got the matching silver Tune Skyline Timetrial skewers to go with it. I mentioned before that the rims went from a mirror polish to a dull matt color within months just sitting in the garage. I would need to use some kind of sealant after the re polish job. I visited some auto forums and nobody really has a solution to keep the magnesium from fading. They just need to be polished often. If there is a way to keep the shine, please someone let me know.

@plag - I am 5 foot 9 inches tall or 175cm.

I'm not sure how long the protective coating lasts but I always liked this stuff:

I ordered some things for my wife's Cannondale build and got everything in the box except for the carbon leaf spring for this build. Ax Lightness is currently out of stock on this item and I will need to wait longer. All this waiting to save 2 grams from what you see below

Just found out that Ax Lightness no longer produces the carbon leaf spring. I have already tried 2 different vendors to order it. Both vendors told me the spring is 32 Euros per piece. It looks like HiBike carries the spring but at triple the price 92 Euros. I don't think I am gonna pay that to save 2 grams.........but it is crazy that I would postpone finishing this bike for 2 months to save 2 grams. Lol.

I will proceed with the steel spring for the rear caliper. The BTP leaf springs I have right now are garbage.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I'm sure someone else (maybe Berk or EP?) has also made the carbon leaf springs?

Wow 2g and 114€ and nothing special on it.

Personally I would just keep that 4g spring. :D

Yes too bad AX was stopping to make brakes and parts for them.
Was hard to get my AX3000 Brakes for my bike.

How is the Ghisallo looking now? still 3,76kg?
